We’ve been going to Tam’s Backstage for over 10 years, and it’s always a fantastic experience! The food is consistently delicious, whether we’re stopping in before a show at the School Street Playhouse or enjoying a date night. The ambience is warm and inviting, with just the right mix of charm and sophistication. Their menu never disappoints—everything is so flavorful and well-prepared. Plus, their cocktails are top-notch and pair perfectly with the meals. Tam’s Backstage has been a go-to for us for years, and it’s a place we’re always excited to return to. Highly recommend for a great evening out!

The restaurant is a beautiful building and well maintained and decorated. We had the crab-shrimp dip which was delicious. We shared the pasta carbonara, and it had a lot of flavor and was a very generous portion. We will gladly come back again!

Absolutely wonderful dining! Stopped for a late lunch had salads and pastas. Also tried the Lobster bisque, it was amazing. Can't say enough. Make sure you check out the museum upstairs, and book tickets for an upcoming event!

I’ve gone before but it’s been a couple years and we just randomly decided to go this past Friday. I wish I had gotten our waitress name. She has glasses and was funny with dark blonde hair. Super sweet great recommendation attentive. I got the city pasta with out mushrooms. He got the trout (on her recommendation). Loved both sooooo much were beyond happy with our experience

The customer service at this location is phenomenal. Very friendly and professional staff. In this post COVID era, felt a lot more sophisticated crew at this location. Their salads are pretty good. Crab cakes were wonderful and atmosphere is very cozy.

Amazing place. Had the baked stuffed flounder was delicious. Affordable and you get great value for your money. Awesome place whether it’s a special occasion or just casual dinner. We called and reserved ahead of time I recommend you reserve because it was fairly full on a weekday.

According to my wife: best crab cakes she’s ever had. Crab stuffed mushrooms are also amazing. I’ll stick to Brian’s Chicken and Blackened asparagus.

The food is amazing! Their Moscato was good (coming from someone who doesn't usually like wine or know anything about it). You will be there a while, especially waiting to get the check. It will be hot in there by that time. The servers are friendly and attentive. It is a beautiful restaurant.
